Fifteen years of high-stakes markets and transactions

Before founding Arcana, Italo spent 7 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York, where he served as the primary FX Derivatives trader for the LatAm desk within BofA's Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) business.

Following Bank of America, Italo was Head of Emerging Markets FX Derivatives at Tullett Prebon ICAP, the world's largest interdealer broker.

Since founding Arcana, Italo has advised on more than 30 engagements spanning M&A advisory and fractional CFO mandates across AI, technology, Data Centers, Real Estate, and consulting, as well as structured instruments in the Brazilian judicial-credit market. His recent work includes M&A advisory for a NASDAQ-listed acquirer, advising on a $2B merger and other transactions.

Outside of his work, Italo enjoys staying active and has completed several marathons and road-cycling centuries. He is a passionate traveler, having explored more than 20 countries, and treasures time spent with his family and daughter.

Italo holds a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Lehigh University.
